B2B refers to business-to-business transactions where customers are other businesses on both ends; such as between a manufacturer and a wholesaler, or between a wholesaler and a retailer. Example is www.golna.com

Business-to-consumer (B2C) transaction refers to businesses dealing with individual consumers or end customers. Such as web shops and Teleshopping. Example is www.amazon.com

Consumer-to-consumer (C2C) is a type of business model that facilitates interaction between customers. It is an online platform where anyone can put products on sale without any middleman, to be bought by any end consumer. The best example of c2c e-commerce is Ebay.com.

  3. 1. Business to Consumer (B2C) - As the name suggests, it is the model involving businesses and consumers. The basic concept behind this type is that the online retailers and marketers can sell their products to the online consumer by using crystal clear data which is made available via various online marketing tools. E.g. An online pharmacy giving free medical consultation and selling medicines to patients is following B2C model.

    2. Business to Business (B2B) - In this form, the buyers and sellers are both business entities and do not involve an individual consumer. It is like the manufacturer supplying goods to the retailer or wholesaler. E.g. Dell sells computers and other related accessories online but it is does not manufacture all those products. So, in order to sell those products, it first purchases them from different businesses i.e. the manufacturers of those products.

    3. Consumer to Consumer (C2C) - It facilitates the online transaction of goods or services between two people. Though there is no visible intermediary involved but the parties cannot carry out the transactions without the platform which is provided by the online market maker such as eBay.

B2C (Business to Consumer) E-Commerce refers to the selling and buying of goods and services via the web from web retailers to web customers.
example are Dell selling me a laptop.
B2B (Business to Business) E-Commerce refers to commerce transaction between manufacturer and retailer. example are Intel selling micro processor to Dell.or Heinz selling ketchup to McDonald.
C2C (Customer to Customer) E-Commerce refers to unknown and untrusted parties selling goods and services to one another. example is I buy an iPod from Tom on eBay.

The customer requirement is different for each one. One B2C deals with business transaction with the end consumer, the customer. The other B2B deals with other businesses as the end customer. And in C2C, customers deals with the customers. So marketing and selling is different as the target market is different.

1.Business to Business (B2B):-where customers are other businesses on both ends;transactions between businesses, such as between a manufacturer and a wholesaler, or between a wholesaler and a retailer.e.g.Intel selling micro processors to Dell,Heinz selling ketchup to Mc Donalds.

2.Business to Consumer (B2C):-applies to any business or organization that sells its products or services to consumers over the Internet for their own use. When most people think of B2C e-commerce, they think of Amazon.com, the online bookseller that launched its site in 1995 and quickly took on the nation's major retailers. However, in addition to online retailers, B2C has grown to include services such as online banking, travel services, online auctions, health information and real estate sites.

3.Consumer to Consumer (C2C):-There are many sites offering free classifieds, auctions, and forums where individuals can buy and sell due to online payment systems where people can send and receive money online with ease.e.g.www.Ebay.com

  6. B2B:
In business to business transactions there are business men at both end.B2B customer may order on the thousands and millions, depending on the size and scale of business.e.g Intel& Microsoft.A B2B site deals primarily with other businesses, not the general public. B2B concerns itself primarily with supply chain management. These are portals that allow businesses to deal directly with their suppliers and distributors online. Allowing electronic transfer of orders, invoicing and even payments. Wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers fall in this category
    B2C:
In business to consumer transactions there is business men at one end selling his product to consumer at other end.B2C concerns itself with selling to the end user. Typically these are sites like Amazon, online book retailers, lastminute.com, a "good times" portal. These sites are more interested in passing the goods to the end user.
    C2C:
In consumer to consumer transactions there is consumer at both ends. In these transactions order size is very small as compare to B2B and B2C transactions. e.g e-bay

Business-to-business (B2B) describes commerce transactions between businesses, such as between a manufacturer and a wholesaler, or between a wholesaler and a retailer.
B2B commerce is done through negotiated contracts that allow the seller to anticipate and plan for how much the buyer will purchase.

Business-to-consumer (B2C, sometimes also called Business-to-Customer) describes activities of businesses serving end consumers with products and/or services. For instance, Dell might sell a high-end workstation to a computer game buff in a business-to-consumer sale. Similarly, a business-to-consumer product is one targeted toward consumers rather than businesses. Video games are an example. Proctor and Gamble is a business-to-consumer organization,

Consumer2Consumer (C2C) or as it is sometimes referred to Peer2Peer (P2P) exchanges involve all transactions between and among consumers. These transactions can also include third party involvement, usually in the form of those who facilitate the marketplace. In C2C networks, consumers sell goods and services to other consumers. There are millions of sellers with different items to sell and an equally large number of buyers.example of C2C is ebay,amozon.com

B2B:-: On the Internet, B2B (business-to-business), also known as e-biz, is the exchange of products, services, or information between businesses rather than between businesses and consumers. Trading between firms characterized by (1)relatively large volumes,(2)competitive and stable prices,(3)fast delivery times.
    Examples:
•Intel selling micro processors to Dell
•B2B companies are setting up Facebook Fan Pages: i.e. Cisco’s Page does a great job of adding links of other Facebook Pages and other places to find them on the web.

B2C:-:While the term e-commerce refers to all online transactions, B2C stands for "business-to-consumer" and applies to any business or organization that sells its products or services to consumers over the Internet for its own use. With B2B implementations, the parties are "Trusted Business Partners" who have an established working relationship. With B2C E-Commerce, the retailers are often selling to unknown, un-trusted strangers.
    Examples:
•We buy the products of Garnier and OLAY from any superstore.
•Mc Donalds selling me a Big Mac

"In general, Wholesaling is B2B and Retailing is B2C"

C2C:-: C2C (consumer to consumer) is an electronic Internet-facilitated medium that involves transactions between consumers utilizing a third-party. The most common example of C2C is the online auction. In this form of C2C, consumers post items for sale and other consumers bid to purchase them.
    Examples:
•EBay’s auction service is a great example of where person-to-person transactions take place every day since 1995.
•Sara is buying a cell phone from Sumera on eBay.
•I am selling a car to my neighbor.
•Selling a home by one Person to another Person.

B2B is business to business electronic commerce. As the name implies that two businesses are exchanging something of mutual value by the use of electronic medium that is internet. B2B commerce in the traditional setting as well as in electronic setting has different influencing factors compared to other modes of electronic or traditional commerce. The example of B2B electronic commerce are the wal mart and intel where wal mart has an automatic inventory replacement system and intel is doing business with different computer manufacturers.
B2C is the mode of transaction where an ecommerce based business and the consumer interact directly. The e based company has something of value to offer and the consumer Buy's the commodity through credit card or some other online payment method. Examples can be in a very diverse range like anyone buying a gift ,book, flowers ,electronic equipment, pc etc through amazon.com or any other online selling site.
C2C is the mode of transaction over internet where the end consumers are allowed to interact and transact directly .The end consumers have got something of value to offer to their counterparts. Here the two parties can exchange used things or the brand new things that they have to offer to their mates. The transactions are again done electronically. The example includes E bay website where a lot of people in online communities as well as from other diverse groups interact and offer things for sale and lookup for things of interest to them to buy from E bay that their fellow consumers have to sell.

The buyers and the sellers are both business owners. This is the type wherein selling is between companies. Most products that are sold by businesses are not manufactured by their own company. They just purchased those products through wholesalers or from the product manufacturer itself. For instance, Toyota Motors does plenty of B2B transactions like purchasing the tires, glasses, rubber hoses and other parts of Toyata vehicles from other manufacturers.
    BUSINESS TO CONSUMER (B2C)
This is the most familiar type in ecommerce. The business is selling its items to an individual. The supplier is the business owner and the purchaser is the individual consumer. In selling items through the website, business owners usually creates catalogs and online shopping carts for the consumers to choose from and for the business owners to accept online payments. Example is McDonalds wherein you can do an online purchase of the food offered and you have the option to either pay upon delivery or pick up or pay it online.
    CONSUMER TO CONSUMER (C2C)
C2C allows transaction of products between two individuals. This type does not need a middleman. And the perfect example of this type is eBay wherein it allows individuals to sell and purchase their products directly.

Traditionally, C2C consumer to consumer sales occurred at flea markets or swap events when people sold second hand goods to somebody else. This may include monetary compensation or it may simply be a swap, where somebody exchanges something for something else.

Consumer-to-consumer (C2C) (or citizen-to-citizen) electronic commerce involves the electronically-facilitated transactions between consumers through some third party.
    e.g www.ebay.com

Business to Consumer (B2C) – As the name suggests, it describes activities of businesses serving end consumers with products and/or services. This is the most common e-commerce segment. In this model, online businesses sell to individual consumers.e.g, Alloy.com, The HipChich.com,etc.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Business to Business (B2B) – It is the largest form of e-commerce. B2B involves commerce transactions between businesses like the one between a manufacturer and a wholesaler or a wholesaler and a retailer. It is like the manufacturer supplying goods to the retailer or wholesaler. E.g. Dell sells computers and other related accessories online but it does not manufacture all those products. So, in order to sell those products, it first purchases them from different businesses i.e. the manufacturers of those products.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Consumer to Consumer (C2C) – It facilitates the online transaction of goods or services between consumers through some third party. A common example is the online auction, in which a consumer posts an item for sale and other consumers bid to purchase it; the third party generally charges a flat fee or commission. The sites are only intermediaries, just there to match consumers. They do not have to check quality of the products being offered. Examples of C2C includes eBay, Craigslist and Amazon.com.

  38. B2B concerns itself primarily with supply chain management. These are portals that allow businesses to deal directly with their suppliers and distributors online. Allowing electronic transfer of orders, invoicing and even payments. Wholesalers, distributors and manufacturers fall in this category.
Examples of B2B are Intel selling micro processors to Dell and Heinz selling ketchup to Mc Donalds.

B2C is short for business-to-consumer, which refers to a business selling items to end customers. B2C websites are intermediary portals to link customers to suppliers. Some of the major ones are ebay, an auction site. Yell, an internet version of yellow pages and ZDNet a technology market place.

C2C involves the electronically-facilitated transactions between consumers through some third party. A common example is the online auction, in which a consumer posts an item for sale and other consumers bid to purchase it; the third party generally charges a flat fee or commission.

    1.B2B (Business-to-Business):-
B2B means companies doing business with each other such as, manufacturers selling to distributors and wholesalers selling to retailers. B2B commerce is done through negotiated contracts that allow the seller to anticipate and plan for how much the buyer will purchase.
e.g. www.shophite.com and Intel selling its chips to dell.

    2.B2C (Business-to-Consumer):-
B2C describes activities of businesses serving end consumers with products and/or services. For instance, Dell might sell a high-end workstation to a computer game buff in a business-to-consumer sale. Similarly, a business-to-consumer product is one targeted toward consumers rather than businesses. Video games are an example. Proctor and Gamble is a business-to-consumer organization, Amazon.com, the online bookseller that launched its site in 1995 and quickly took on the nation's major retailers.

    3.C2C (Consumer-to-Consumer):-
In consumer to consumer transactions there is consumer at both ends. In these transactions order size is very small .There are many sites offering free classifieds, auctions, and forums where individuals can buy and sell thanks to online payment systems like PayPal where people can send and receive money online with ease. EBay’s auction service is a great example of where person-to-person transactions take place every day since 1995.

  45. B2B e-commerce is the exchange of products, services, or information between businesses online rather than
between businesses and consumers online. Example: Manufacturers of computer hardware parts selling their
products online to branded computer manufacturers.

B2C e-commerce is a transaction conducted over the Internet between a business and a consumer online. For example, an online publisher may sell a book to a
customer, ship it to him, and receive payment, all without ever meeting the customer.

C2C means that a consumer sells something to another consumer. Example: consumer to consumer commerce website is eBay. eBay is basically an auction site
that facilitates sales by one consumer to another.

  49. E-commerce is the use of Internet and the web to transact business but when we focus on digitally enabled commercial transactions between and among organizations and individuals involving information systems under the control of the firm it takes the form of e-business. Nowadays, 'e' is gaining momentum and most of the things if not everything is getting digitally enabled. Thus, it becomes very important to clearly draw the line between different types of commerce or business integrated with the 'e' factor.
    1. Business to Consumer (B2C) - As the name suggests, it is the model involving businesses and consumers. This is the most common e-commerce segment. In this model, online businesses sell to individual consumers. When B2C started, it had a small share in the market but after 1995 its growth was exponential. The basic concept behind this type is that the online retailers and marketers can sell their products to the online consumer by using crystal clear data which is made available via various online marketing tools. E.g. An online pharmacy giving free medical consultation and selling medicines to patients is following B2C model.
    2. Business to Business (B2B) - It is the largest form of e-commerce involving business of trillions of dollars. In this form, the buyers and sellers are both business entities and do not involve an individual consumer.
